This season’s design trends are all about warmth, comfort, and understated luxury. Homes are moving away from cold minimalism and embracing a more lived-in, elevated feel.

One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing is the return of natural materials. White oak, warm woods, stone textures, and soft neutral palettes are everywhere. These elements create a timeless, California-inspired look that feels both relaxed and refined.

Layered textures are also having a moment. Think linen upholstery, boucle accents, woven rugs, and subtle patterns that add depth without overwhelming a space. It’s all about creating a home that feels cozy but still polished.

In kitchens and living spaces, we’re seeing a move toward softer contrast, less stark black and white, and more warm creams, taupes, and muted earth tones. Paired with brushed gold or champagne hardware, the result is quietly luxurious.

Statement spaces are becoming more intentional as well. Instead of over-decorating, homeowners are choosing a few standout features like a beautiful fireplace, oversized windows, or a stunning light fixture that anchors the room.

And finally, indoor-outdoor living continues to be a must. Seamless transitions to patios, outdoor kitchens, and lounge areas are not just a trend, they are becoming an expectation, especially here in California.
